Shattered Soul

Shattered Soul is Team KAIZEN’s 90s-style 3D fighter. Its current tech demo is built in the Unity game engine. As one of its primary developers, I created the combat system. For game programmers, this system provides an interface to define what behaviors compose each attack. These include listening for specific button presses, playing sound effects and animations, firing projectiles, and applying damage. During gameplay, the system executes these attacks and affects the players, HUD, and environment. Among other miscellaneous tasks, I also worked with collision detection, 3D camera movement, and player movement.
